s2member-pro install issues when moving site to new server

  • Hi guys,

    We are moving to a new server because we were hacked. We installed fresh copies of wordpress and the s2member framework plugin.. then we restored or database from our original server.

    I noticed that a few features were not working then I realized I had not installed the s2member-pro plugin yet.

    After installing that and activating I got this error

    The s2Member plugin doesn’t say pro and when I click the the general options…it’s not formatted correct….like your nice pretty menu boxes are gone and it’s all text.

    I’m guessing there is something in my DB from the old pro install that is not liking things? I checked and it is the latest version on the old server and new server.

    Any ideas how we can get our pro upgrade working?

  • Try to install it on a fresh DB, then import the DB, as there can be some dependence.

    Note, that in DB can be viruses or malicious code too, so you must fix it before to import.
