s2member-o.php?ws_plugin takes 30 seconds to load

  • A few days ago my site norfield.org started running really slow. The chrome debug tools shows that the s2member-o.php?ws_plugin_s2member_css and s2member-o.php?ws_plugin_s2member_js_w_globals each take 30 seconds to load. Page takes 1.1 minutes to load the 1 minute is due to s2member. Until a few days ago s2member was working great without slowing my site.

    I enabled the s2member log files and it shows a high number of connect() timeout errors to phat-reaction.com/googlefonts.php. I don’t know how to eliminate that part of the code though?

    Nevermind, it was a problem with the cosmos theme! Had to comment out the call to phat-reaction.com. Problem fixed now. Had nothing to do with s2member. Thanks for the great product!
