S2 moving over to new site / URL

Now that the list is transferred from old to new site, the site owner (Scott) sent out one last mailing from the old site, alerting people to the upcoming change to a new site. That last mailing, though, came from the admin email address instead of his… even though his was (still) listed as the From: email address in S2. How can that happen? None of the settings were changed on the old when attempting to export to the new.
Since that happened, the site owners are now hesitant to send a first mailing off the new site — the From: address is the same as the old site’s settings, but that clearly didn’t matter on last week’s mailing.
Please advise — if you would like wp-admin access to see if you can spot an issue, please let me know.
