"&s" – how to make this right?

This is, what the plugin shows at my site:

It seems, that this part
<br /> &s<br />should show my Twitter username – but there is always this “&s” after the time.
I have set the time settings to showing it “always”.What is wrong here?

And by the way: the translation in this plugin is wrong, too:
“favourit” instead of “favourite” or “favorite”!!
