RVM works fine after I have updated it w/ the custom map for the US after it was made a paid add-on, but all of my bootstrap modals are not working anymore…

The option to trigger a link along w/ a hashtag URL ( like for the state select — #DE / #RI / #NC ) now is broken for me — I have had to adjust it so that it loads the DIV directly below the map. This is not the ideal method desired to show state chart data…

To see what I mean w/ working modals – the top graphic has clickable areas where when clicked, the Bootstrap Modal activates…However, on the map, I had to eliminate this functionality to get it to display at all…I’m wondering how to return this similar treatment/styling to state visuals when clicked…

Is there a CSS/JS workaround you would suggest to get Bootstrap modal functionality working again? I’m using Bootstrap 3.3.7 currently…

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi anandy,

thanks for using RVM and sending over the page to check!

If I’m correct you would like to open modals clicking on each sate, and since latest version is not possible anymore.

So how did you manage before the update?
Did you use the link field with “#” + id name of modal?
If this is the case, is not possible for you to use same system?

In subdivisions section which action are you using each state?

Thanks and sorry for all this questions ??

Enrico, I was able to solve the problem!

Thank you for releasing RVM 5.7.2, which introduced the rvm-active-custom-card class applied to cards displayed when clicked…

I was able to work around my issue where bootstrap modal classes were overriding RVM map classes by setting up some quick JQuery targetting that new class you added and then animate the body up/down as items are clicked.

I also set up a ‘close’ button on the box that appears so that it’ll slide back up to the map for further interaction by the user.

You can see it working here: https://medical-legalpartnership.org/partnerships/?cachebusted (had to add the ? due to temporary caching issues)

Thanks for the superbly useful (and unexpected) support on this issue, and a fine plugin, too!
