russian language doesn’t inherit website font

    the website is in development and it’s a closed one, if that matters.

    having issues with russian language – it changes the font, it doesn’t inherit the website’s font like other languages do. ( no such issues for e.g. with ES, FR or DE language )

    Hi,

    It can be because the font you are using does not have support for Russian characters, so it falls back to the next defined font or system default font.

    this is the font i use https://www.typography.com/fonts/gotham-rounded/how-to-use#language_support and it does support russian.

    Hi,

    The question is was the font compiled to have the Russian characters or no.

    I do not see your website and I cannot comment about it. We do not have special rules specific to Russian language to change the font. I believe the chances are very low that your theme has specific CSS code for Russian language as well.
