Running ultra slow

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone could shead some light – I am currently attempting to rebuild the website for the school I work at, turning it into a WordPress CMS.

However, the system is running extremly slow (https://springwoshs.eq.edu.au/wordpress). I have used other scripts with an SQL backend that works fine so I am assuming it’s not due to the server (although shared with other schools).

Any suggestions – oh and no, im not running any plugins!
