Running two versions of the plugin at once

    Is it possible to run the plugin twice in parallel, one version which gives users the ability to follow another user and one version which gives the user the ability to “favourite” another user?

    I was hoping to use a localisation file on the 2nd version to change “follow” to “favourite” but can see some function naming conflicts might happen.

    Hi Henry,

    Short answer is “No”, you cannot run the same plugin twice.

    This plugin wasn’t written for extending I’m afraid.

    The only way for this to work will be to do a copy and paste of the plugin and replace all instances of “Follow” with “Favourite” in the source code.

    I actually gave some thought to the copy and paste method but didn’t get the chance to test it out – I might give it a try using find-and-replace on a test install.
