Running Sluggish

  • I’ve noticed that its been difficult to use word page. I blog with this program and usually I haven’t had a problem, but lately it has been so slow, and if it takes a long time I get an “Internal Error” message and when I hit the back button to return to the previous page, I lose all my work.
    I thought it was just my computer, but when I tried it on another, it happened again.
    What is wrong? Why isn’t it working?

  • Assuming you mean “WordPress” and not “word page”, have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

    – increasing your available memory?
