Our blogs run through a proxy. So. We work on clientsite.blogging.net but publish to clientsite.com, and it looks like this plug in’s builder fails the pre-flight with CORS. And that means we can’t save or publish web stories using this plug-in.

Are there any updates coming to help us resolve this?
Or, would you happen to know a work around we could utilize?

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

We’re not aware of any issues in this area. Web Stories doesn’t really do anything out of the ordinary. It just uses the WordPress REST API, like the block editor does as well. If the block editor (aka Gutenberg) does work fine for you, could you perhaps share your Site Health information with us?
Also, what does your CORS configuration look like?

We utilize a multisite installation. the web story builder is running at xxxx.domainA.com/wp-admin and when previewing it’s running thru the proxy server at https://www.domainB.com/blog/. That is where the issue lies we believe. For more detailed information on our CORS settings, is there a way we can move this to a private forum?

    Also! THANK YOU!

@mwilsongravity feel free to submit your Site Health Information and other supporting information (CORS config) using this form.

@mwilsongravityfree We are going to mark your topic as resolved as we haven’t received a response. If you continue to experience any issues, please open a new support topic with your Site Health information submitted privately here.

    Thank you.
