Run WordPress Back Page on HTML Site

I am curious to know if I can attach one WordPress blog page to an existing site hosted on asp.net and is HTML based. I have tried to link WordPress to other HTML sites on services like GoDaddy and the php takes over. For example, a main site on godaddy had unlimited account hosting, so I placed a 2nd website on the server to test wordpress and it took over both sites. Since I was unable to do this, I doubt I can just add a blog backpage? Anyone know?
