Run shortcode in output of another shortcode

I have the Q and A FAQ plugin by raygun. i want to run a wp-table reloaded shortcode in the output of the q and a faq shortcode.

currently when i attempt to do this, the wp-table reloaded shortcode shows up as text when published. it is important to have a table in the faq items otherwise the data won’t make sense.

i have tried adding different lines of code i have found to the functions.php file and then to the q-and-a.php plugin file to no avail.

is there a way to run a shortcode within the output of another shortcode?
