    Heya!

Thank you for an essential WP tool. Oughta be core feature, this one.

My client has her products come in via Zettle integration. The images that get drawn in do not trigger a thumbnail cropping plugin (N. Lemsieh’s).

A workaround for now is to manually regen thumbnails using your plugin. However it’d be better if the regen could run on a 24h interval.

Any pointers as to how to approach this would be appreciated, though I do not expect wonders – this situation is not the fault of your plugin ??

    Hi @jpontinen,

    Thanks for the wonderful feedback!

As noted on the front page of this plugin repo, we do have an alternative that automatically regenerates thumbnails: Jetpack’s Photon Module.

Jetpack is a plugin by Automattic, makers of WordPress.com. It gives your self-hosted WordPress site some of the functionality that is available to WordPress.com-hosted sites.

The Photon module makes the images on your site be served from WordPress.com’s global content delivery network (CDN) which should speed up the loading of images. Importantly though it can create thumbnails on the fly which means you’ll never need to use this plugin.

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
