Run out of bandwidth for a day ( ~300 GB)

  • Hello every one!
    I’ve just downloaded and installed new version and I did not change anything. Just leave sample page alone. No new post no category…and wait for a day. After that, site runs out of my bandwidth a bout 300 GB. my site is https://www.vietnameseforforeigner.com

    Anyone have any ideas? WP need to much bandwidth like that?

    Thanks but they said it’s because of code.
    Anyone in the same situation?

    What was on the site? Were you offering some kind of online streaming?

    No I did not, I just download the original pack and set up. then leave it alone. No more post, plugin…Do you think someone spam my domain esmi?

    Either that or it was immediately hacked. I think you need to go back to your hosts and ask them why they think an empty WordPress site could consume all of the bandwidth in a day. Their server logs will help to determine exactly what was happening on that site.

    I tried 2 suppliers but the same. do you think i have to buy unlimited host?

    No – that shouldn’t be necessary for a basic WordPress site. I’ve run one blog (+ static site) on just 25GB a month for years without the slightest problem. I’ve got another 2 or 3 sites running on 100GB.
