Rumor on a New Release?

it was out on around 25. i am still waiting…
on IRC and on Site ??

i am still watiing too. But good thing can’t be rushed.

yeah true. i dont want my blog to mess up on upgrade…
but some official word would help!

I wasn’t rushing anyone…just curious about the official “news” vs. “rumor.”

“There are still a few outstanding items I’d like to get to before releasing 1.0 on the 1st of 2004 and I’m very much looking forward to working on those in the next few days.”
That is a direct quote from a post Matt made to the developers blog last week.

I agree with you about not wanting your blog to mess up on upgrade. I have gotten my blog exactly as I like it and am willing to upgrade if the contents and aesthetics do not get radically altered.

ooh i believe template would have centain major changes with the upgrade
hence i will be making a new blog for a friend and upgrade some less used once before i use it on my personal blog! ??

I’m working a complete overhaul of my own site as of now, so a complete overhaul of my Blog engine (for the better) is very much welcomed ??

I’m also waiting for the new version. I’ve been testing some new features and add-ons to my site and will be moving my blog to my root directory…but I want to release everything when I get the new version up and running. There are a lot of new features that I am looking forward to!

I wonder if everybody else is obsessively clicking on the WP site every 2 minutes, like I am. ??

YES!!

I know I am. Oh well, tomorrow I will have more time to install the new release anyway.
