Rules in .htaccess by uninstalling All In One WP Security & Firewall
-
Hi there,
I have installed another firewall plugin (NinjaFirewall). At the same time “All In One WP Security & Firewall” was installed.
Unfortunately after this, I could not activate, deactivate or delete plugins anymore.
So I deleted “All In One WP Security & Firewall” within the file manager at my hosting account.
Although “All In One WP Security & Firewall” is not installed at the moment, having activated NinjaFirewall causes again the same problem that plugins in general cannot be activated, deactivated or deleted.
I asked the support team of “NinjaFirewall”, and they told me that possibly there have been installed rules in .htaccess by uninstalling “All In One WP Security & Firewall” which is causing the described issues.
Regarding this, I informed also my hosting provider about that issue but they told me that they have not seen anything strange within .htaccess.
Can go give me a tip how I may clean .htaccess if there have been set any rules by “All In One WP Security & Firewall”.
Best regards
