Rules gone after deactivation/reactivation

So after the latest update per date October 10th 2023, all buy know buttons were gone.

I have set a hide on certain product ids to indeed hide those (replaced products, products that will never be in store anymore).

After the mentioned update, the buy now button was gone for all products.

After deactivation of the plugin, the buy now buttons are all visible again.

BTW I have NOT set the option to remove anything from the database after deactivation.

Now on reactivation all my rules are gone. My list of products was long and now I don’t have a backup (well I do have store backups of course, but nothing easy for this plugin).

So two problems i see with the latest update:
1. It seems my rules got applied irregardless of my products id list.
2. Deactivation removes all related database elements of the plugin even when it has been set to NOT do that and keep the settings in the DB.

1. Is there anyway I can get my settings back?
2. Has an option maybe been introduced that ignores the products id list?
