rules based on the single product or shipping class

– Whenever a vendor is added in a site, we create a shipping class for that vendor.
– Now that vendor’s product has only his vendor class added
– Also, each vendor can configure their own shipping rate (i.e. flat rate shipping, free shipping and Local Pickup) for their own shop.

So, can you please explain what flow are you looking for, so we can assist you better.

I try to explain myself better. I sell in dropshipping and I have 3 e-commerce sellers (A – B – C)
– Seller “A” needs shipping costs to vary based on the weight of his purchased products.
– Seller “B” also needs shipping costs to vary based on the weight of the products purchased, but these are different from “A”
– Seller “C” has shipping costs other than “A” and “B” plus free shipping over 50 euros.

With your plugin, can I set different rules for the 3 sellers? Will each product keep its own shipping rule independently of the others?
Can I set the free shipping cost on a single seller and will it be applied to the cart regardless of the presence of other products from other sellers?

Hi @umberto69, let me help you out with our flow, if you enable the “shipping” option via WCMp >> Settings >> General, then the vendor can add their own shipping rate. Sp whenever vendor gets added to a site, we create a shipping class of them. So, when they add a product, their shipping class gets added to that product.

Now, we do let the seller add their own shipping rate. However, the vendor can only add flat rate, free shipping, and table rate shipping.

Now if you do want them to add weight-wise shipping, in that case, you may use the WooCommerce Table rate plugin. Becasue WC marketplace is compatible with WooCommerce Table rate plugin, therefore, vendor can add shipping rate as per weight, for further help please check this doc : https://wc-marketplace.com/knowledgebase/shipping-by-weight-using-woocommerce-table-rate-shipping/
