    Hi,
Looking at using this plugin to restrict a whole load of internal pages to logged in users only etc. and it works well.
However we have pages that are children of children of other pages (actually via the “WeDocs” plugin) and if we add a new min level child we have to remember to add it to the rule. Could you consider having a “child or grandchild” (or just descendant for any level) rule then we can just have an “Internal” one and all sub pages get hidden.

    Hey @mrpurplestreak,

Thanks so much for your feedback.

Have you tried using the Is Pages: Ancestor Of condition? Here’s what that looks like in the UI.

    https://share.wppopupmaker.com/d5uN7eoJ

The Ancestor Of condition should restrict any child and grandchildren (descendants) pages.

If we use the restriction on our Sample Page, we should get this.

    – Sample Page (ancestor)
    — Child of Sample Page (restricted)
—- Grandchild of Sample Page (restricted)

Note: If you want the Sample Page restricted too, add an OR Is A Selected Page condition for it.

We hope we got your question right. Please let us know.

Ah right – I though Ancestor of was the other way round (if Child Of meant one below I assumed Ancestor of meant top level parent. I did wonder why anyone would want that rule).
Ancestor Of seems to work great – thanks.
