    Hi,
I’ve installed the latest version and set Hebrew as a second language.
I have also created a RTL.css file in my theme’s directory however, when I select the Hebrew language from the language selector, it shows the translation content all right but it does not change the page layout to be RTL.
    what should I do?
    Thank you.

  • rtl support for qtranslate is working without a problem as far as I can tell. I have used it on hundreds of times, in many languages ( including hebrew, arab, chinese, persian etc ..)

It seems like you have some other kind of problem, which is theme related and not qtranslate .

First , have you tried to rename your file to rtl.css ? also, where did you put this file ?

I did name it rtl.css and it’s in my child theme directory.
Should it be on the main theme directory?
    Thanks.

it seems the page is loaded as lang=en even when I’m in a Hebrew page.
I see the tag <html lang=”en”> although the url has the Hebrew language selector in it.
You can see it here: https://www.fansassist.com/blog/?lang=he

got it! sorry, I was missing the @import url(“rtl.css”) statement.
    thanks!

it seems it was a bit premature to set this issue as resolved.
now the entire site is always RTL even when in English language.
    what am I missing?
    thanks!

why did you mark this as “resolved” !?!?
There’s no answer to your last questions here and I have issues with the rtl support as well! Only the text (page contents) works the rest is all messed up

I said it was premature to mark this as resolved.
I’ve opened a new issue in this matter.
at the moment, I resolved the issue by enqueuing the rtl.css in my functions.php file but I’m not sure if this is the right way.
I would expect the plugin to do it.

In most likelihood the problem is in your theme and not the qTranslate plugin. I have used this plugin in over 200 installations – and never a glitch ..

Same problem here! I even switched to the default themes which actually support rtl but when I switch the language using qTranslate it doesn’t work:\
