I’m testing out creating an email that is sent out every time there is a new post, but the content of the blog is in Hebrew (right-to-left). Even though I adjusted each relevant <td> section’s “style” to include “align: right; direction:rtl;” as I saw was suggested on another thread, the resulting email does not align the text right and so the formatting looks awful.
I’ve been told that MailPoet works well with Hebrew. What am I missing?

  • MailPoet won’t insert Tables on its newsletters.

If your site is configured with RTL, then your newsletters should be fine without any additional code.

    Hi,
I’m not using tables. The <td> was from part of the default code inside the plugin’s file: /tools/templates/newsletter/email/email_template.html.
Am I editing the wrong place? I know that it should work fine without any additional code, but it isn’t and that’s why I tried editing the above file. Please help.

Please don’t edit those files, if you do, please revert the action. RTL should work by default on MailPoet if your website is setup as RLT as well.

My website was set up properly with RTL. There is a rtl.css file and I am using WPML. I reverted the change that I made. I understand that RTL should work by default on MailPoet, but it is not so I am asking for your help please.

Please, send us a link to some of your newsletters that have this issue (the View in your Browser version URL).

Haha, this was marked resolved? Instead, I upgraded to Premium, waited for over a week, and then RTL support, which I was assured was built in, is apparently no longer supported!

As we told you, it is supported and work in a lot of websites that uses RTL, however, on your specific case we don’t have human resources available to deeply investigate your issue and found out what’s happening, since we are 100% focused right now on the new version of our plugin: https://www.mailpoet.com/an-update-on-mailpoet-3/

“Supported” means that you provide support.
It’s really too bad that you spent more time having me send you things and writing me e-mails than taking a look. A friend and I looked at it for 10 minutes and were able to figure out what was wrong.

    Hi,
I really wish I could remember. We edited the CSS of the mail template somehow. I can send you my copy of the plugin if that helps.
