RT damaged my wp-Media files

I install this Regenerate thumbnails plugin and did a scan and now all my images are black spaces,, Not broken, no little icon of broken image but just a blank square.

It uploads an images and provides the link and even appears clicking on edit but doesn’t appear on media file page in t=on front-end of website.

Can you please help as I have tried many repair options but all without success.

my site is literally broken without images appearing.
