RSVP Payment Integration

    Love your plugin. Use on a couple of site. Just donated.

    Because of its custom email response and reminder features, I am attempting to replace The Events Calendar and Event Tickets Plus (Modern Tribe) with RSVPmaker. Some events are free, some are paid. Currently we are integrating with WooCommerce for the paid events (using Stripe). I see a way of integrating with Stripe but I wondering about registration and possible integration with our eCommerce solution (small store). Thanks.

    Right, I just added support for Stripe (through integration with another plugin). I probably should build out a general-purpose API that would allow for further customizations/integrations of the payment flow, but I have only started to think about that.

    What do you have in mind re: integration with your store? The store is based on WooCommerce? I can imagine adding something to the logging of completed payments so the payment for an RSVP would also be logged in the records for the store.

    I would need a better idea of what you’re looking for to tell you whether it’s something I can add to the free plugin, or tell you how to do yourself, or could only tackle on the basis of a consulting engagement.

    thanks David. My programmer may ask for some consultation time on related matters. We are still evaluating. The clients requirements on the RSVP system are evolving.

    A possible complication is the need for an event mapping solution. I see that this is a feature not discussed in the forums or the documentation.

    Any guidance here.

    Re: maps and similar things, my approach has always been to take advantage of the variety of content embedding options WordPress offers, rather than building my own. It’s pretty easy to embed a Google Map in an RSVPMaker post, the same way you would in a post or page.
