RSVP button greyed out

    I have just installed Events Plugin with Event Tickets, latest plugin version,I’ve updated my WordPress and theme to the latest versions, and set up the RSVP to an event. Everything looks like it works smoothly, until I view the page on the frontend, where the whole RSVP option and button is greyed out, and it seems to be hidden. I’ve followed all the troubleshooting tips, gone through the setup on your website, but can’t figure out what’s missing.

    There is one error in each of the 10+ scripts related to Tribe Events: tribe.events = tribe.events || {};
    Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property ‘events’ of undefined

    Do I need the Pro version of the plugin?

    Update: I think my theme must have been overriding something. But I realized that in order to keep my theme customization, I need to use shortcodes to display the RSVP, which is only available with the Pro version of the plugin.

    I will wait until we have more events to purchase this plugin.
