    Hi!

Since sometime in August, the events i post on my site do not connect to Event Tickets anymore…

Before, i would create events in a post_type=event section, with Event Ticket linked to this specific post type and all would work well.

Now, everytime i create a new event, it comes not-connected the Event Ticket. They all appear as “Unticketed” (tribe_has_ticket=0). Even when i clone older events where RSVP showed, it re-creates them without the ticketing. In my post list, the “Attendees” option disappears, even though the post settings are exactly the same.

I’ve been trying to backversion the plugin, but it creates an error. I’ve played with all the settings i could but can’t understand why this happens. Console & Debug give nothing out…

These two posts have the same settings, yet do not behave the same…

I do not know where to look… Any idea?

    Thanks!

  • Hey there @chokdidesign

So sorry that is happening. Can you walk through our conflicts test? https://support.theeventscalendar.com/303643-Testing-for-conflicts

Please also confirm that Event Tickets is active and that Events > Settings > Tickets > Post types that can have tickets is set to include Events.

When you create a new event with a ticket (with other plugins deactivated except ET/TEC), are you able to see it display within Ticketed events?

Can you clarify – are you wanting to specifically see an RSVP event within “ticketed” events?

https://cloudup.com/cZU29kgyxUX is what I see when hovering over an event with tickets. Some of the additional items are related to our other plugins.

The clone feature you are seeing is not related to our plugins. It may not be able to gather tickets for cloning.

Are you using classic or block editor with our plugins?

    Thanks

    Hi Courtney!!

Thank you so much for your feedback!

    1) 2016 ruined all the website so i installed 2019, broke the website again. I figure the plugin that comes with the theme might be creating the issue as i get the following error:

I retried with all plugins deactivated. It turns out the site break if a activate the plugin that comes with the theme (Eventchamp Theme, plugin:Eventchamp Elements, by Gloria themes.

Plugin detective doesn’t show any conflict when i only have these two plugins active…

I really feel that ET has stopped picking the “event” post type (confirmed they are active in the settings), but i have no idea how to fix this.

Please also confirm that Event Tickets is active and that Events > Settings > Tickets > Post types that can have tickets is set to include Events.

Confirmed. This worked well until a few weeks ago.

Can you clarify – are you wanting to specifically see an RSVP event within “ticketed” events?

Yes, before that issue, everytime i created an event post, i had an RSVP box showing. Therefore, the “Ticketed” filter on the “All event” page actually gathered all of my posts. Now they all are “Unticketed” by default. Before that, i saw no option to “ticket or unticket” a post…

Indeed, i had added the clone plugin to see if it would pick

Are you using classic or block editor with our plugins?

The site uses WP-Bakery, but deactivating it doesn’t solve the issue.

I am trying to get in touch with Gloria Themes to see what happened.
EDIT: i’ve just received this: “We changed our core system that’s why there isn’t same settings.”

Will keep you posted. I hope what i replied helps, but i’m not soo sure this is on your end right?

Thanks A LOT for your help!

    Charles

    Hi Charles,

Thank you very much for all your explanations! Indeed, it does help ??

Could you confirm that your website is working properly when both your Eventchamp Theme and your Eventchamp Elements plugin are removed?

There must be a conflict since both our plugin and your theme create an event post type. Did Gloria Themes give you more feedback?

On our end, I’m not sure there’s anything we can do, but I’d be curious to get their opinion.

    Cheers,
    Jeremy
