    Is there a way to RSVP after the purchase of a ticket? For example, if you were to charge per family or car or something of the sort. But after that you need to get a head count, is that a possibility?

    RSVPs and Tickets are similar but separate things. Think of RSVPs as “free tickets” that don’t go through a checkout process. While you could add both tickets and RSVPs to an event, I’m not sure how you would associate any of the attendees that RSVP’d with the paid tickets.

    The free Event Tickets plugin does not allow collecting custom attendee information, such as “number of attendees in a car”. This is a feature of the Event Tickets Plus plugin.
