RSSImport is skipping the first post

I use RSSImport to display events from The Events Calendar, only showing the newest event. I (believe?) it worked until I updated the Events Calendar Yesterday.
The page where I show the “latest” event now skips the current live event and goes right to the second event here:

Looking at the feed this event type, the current shows, but it is skipping the first one when trying to display on the page using RSSImport. This is the feed I am trying to display:

It might be more of an events calendar issue and not the RSSImport. I don’t want to duplicate the support ticket, so I hope that both authors hear about it and get tagged.
