RSS Widget that preserves formatting?

I am using the default RSS widget that comes with WordPress. When I try to import an RSS feed, it puts the item content (the description) of the feed in one continuous line, ignoring bolds, italics and line breaks. I want it to show the content with all the markup that was in the RSS feed. Or at least preserve the line breaks (br). Also it puts a […] at the end of the description without making it into a link or anything, which is frustrating. Anyway to make it a link to the full entry?

I have tried both the KB Advanced RSS and the Simple RSS Fetcher and neither one even imports the feed I want, for some reason. It’s just a regular Feedburner feed, but it doesn’t seem to pull it in. The built in WordPress plugin at least imports it in, but the formatting is all weird.
