• Hey guys,

I am a complete newbie to wordpress but have managed to string along, teaching myself through the all knowledgeable GOOGLE. However, I’m kinda stuck with this one little problem with my RSS Widget.

I am using the standard wordpress RSS Widget and have currently set up the RSS Feed links to open in a new window, but I would like to completely disable the Feed Links to avoid visitors bouncing off my site to another site.

Is there any way I can prevent the feed links in the RSS widget from being clickable?

    My website URL is: https://www.GovernmentGrantsAustralia.org

    Appreciate all the help!

    Thanks..

    hey guys,

Just bumpin this up as received no replies till now, can anyone help at all?

    thanks..

The correct way to do this is to write/use a plugin that creates a customizable RSS widget. However, at the moment, there aren’t any good ones that work with the latest version of WordPress.

If you’re “lazy” like me, you can edit the file “wp-includes/default-widgets.php”. However, I don’t recommend editing core WordPress files at all.
