RSS widget includes unwanted link to blog post title

  • I’ve recently installed WordPress 2.1 and have just used the sidebar widgets to put an RSS feed icon (button? not sure of the terminology) in the sidebar, with “Subscribe” written next to it. On checking the blog site, I note that there has been automatically included a link to my first and only blog post title, which appears immediately underneath the RSS icon and “Subscribe”. How do I get rid of this, please, so there is only the orange RSS icon and “Subscribe” next to it, and nothing underneath?
