I have been researching for a couple of hours how to do this. I have a feedburner thats up and running fine. I placed the feedburner in the rss widget, gave it a title(subscribe) and positioned it where I wanted it in the sidebar(im using twenty ten).

This is where my problem occurs, the rss icon to the left of my title takes people to the subscribe page(that’s great) but if they try and click on the actually “subsribe” title it just brings them to the home page. I would like them to take the user to the same place, does anyone know how to accomplish this?

    Thanks in advance

  • Unless you provide a link to a page demonstrating the problem, no one will be able to offer much in the way of specific help.

    oh sorry, the site is:
    https://bocahealthcarecenter.com/blog/

you’ll see what I mean if you click the icon next to the subscribe title and than try to just click the subscribe title itself.

Get rid of the RSS widget. You really don’t want to be pulling your own feed into your site. Added to which, the link you are using is just plain incorrect. You need to go back to your feedburner account and find the correct url for your feedburner feed. Then add that as a link to your sidebar – not a feed.

It’s looking good and working good but you say my address is incorrect? I dont understand because if you click on it gives you a new page with an option to subscribe, is this not right?

Thanks for your help by the way I think thats the second time you’ve helped me this week.

The link in the RSS feed was incorrect. The new link works just fine.

    And you’re very welcome. ??
