• I am using ‘greenblog’ theme.
The RSS button on top-right-corner, mentions ‘Subscribe to the Blog’.

Upon click,it shows all garbled matters. It seems that some of the post contents are also picked up in that garbage.

What’s the remedy to fix it.

I am new to web/blog, please help me set it right.

    Thanks and regards,
    RAJ

  • Would need a link to investigate, however…you don’t click on an rss feed link from a browser….

RSS feeds are not meant to be viewed within a browser

They are meant to be viewed from within an RSS reader.

    Thanks for your reply.
Yeah! I have now tried few other RSS tabs and they also appear similar.

However, if you may please check and confirm whether its working fine:

Now, for my knowledge, if you may explain:
    1. How would visitors subscribe? They must be clicking through browser.
    2. What is RSS reader?
    3. Would like to know as to how the basic system works….

These might be elementary, but am new hence troubling.
    thx n rgds – Raj

I just visited your feed, it looks perfect in my reader

    1) they right click and copy the url, and add it to their reader, or they have an rss extension added to their browser

    2) there are many, they collect all the RSS feeds you subscribe to in one place for you to read the feeds. Here’s an online one for you to look at: https://www.google.com/reader

    3) People just add the url for your feed to their reader of choice. If you have no rss feed reader installed, and try to view an rss feed in a browser, it will look like a jumbled mess of code and stuff
