RSS Support

  • I’ve previously been using the Bookmark Card plugin but I discovered your plugin the other day and I really like the features and customizations it provides in comparison.

    That said though, I’ve noticed something strange in that the Visual Link Preview plugin doesn’t seem to function properly with RSS subscriptions. In effect, when I look at my RSS feed, it shows the text for the article but no links are provided. In comparison, when I look at the Bookmark Card plugin output, all text is linked within my RSS feed.

    I think the difference is that the Visual Link Preview plugin applies the link at the start of the block and applies it “over top” all text via CSS, whereas the Bookmark Card Plugin actually has the <A> at the start of the block and the closing </A> at the end of the block which allows it to function even with RSS subscriptions.

    Is there any way you could update the Visual Link Preview plugin so it functions in a similar way, thus allowing it to work with RSS subscriptions as well? Even just a secondary link around the TITLE element would be awesome.
