• Hey there,

A little while ago we purchased a theme to use on our website and we are a little stuck with the above issue. We hope someone out there might be able to help us.

We’ve recently recognised the need to create an RSS feed for the site, which we understood would be automatically generated by WordPress. However we cannot find any RSS feeds for the site, and wondered if there was anywhere we aren’t looking where a feed might exist?

At the moment our site is not held in the root directory, but has an additional folder (essentially https://www.example.com/example/xxxx.php and we wondered whether this would be causing the problem, or whether there was anyway to fix it.

We’ve looked at the file that is supposed to be generated but seem to either stumble upon 500 Internal Server Error or No input file specified.

We are fairly new to WordPress, RSS etc and struggle to understand why it isn’t already generating, as we thought that was one of the functions automated by WordPress. Would there be some code in our theme that should be used to fix this issue perhaps?

Many thanks in advance to anyone who can help us.
