RSS problems when using Wordfence

    Hello,

    I come across strange problem, whenever I use wordfance i can’t pull data from site RSS.

    Here is what I’ve come so far:

    1. I set website that pull RSS from 2 other sites that have RSS feed and have wordfence installed and I can’t get it to work to pull the data.
    2. Then i white listed my site IP into wordfence settings on those both sites and suddenly it started working.
    3. After a while it stopped working again, then i decided to try and disable wordfence on the main site where I’m displaying the RSS of those two website, and boom, it works.
    4. I tested default theme, no plugins so that’s not the case.

    Somehow wordfence is blocking pulling and displaying RSS feeds.

    Can u help?

  • Hi @tomasbal,

    Can you go into Wordfence -> Tools -> Live Traffic, and see why connections to your RSS feed are being blocked?

    Whitelisting the IP does work, so can you also check if the rules are still there, and that the other site’s IP did not change?

    Hi, I checked and the white-listed IP is there, but still it doesn’t work.
    Btw, the live traffic doesn’t show the rss feed block, so I don’t know why it blocks it
