RSS Permalink Error

I thought I would change the permalink option from the

Default
? https://yoururl.com/blog/?p=123

to
Date and name based
? https://yoururl.com/blog/2006/01/23/sample-post/

due to being unable to write to my .htaccess file I then changed the option back to the default thinking all would be fine but its not. My RSS feed is now all wrong and pointing towards the Date and name based urls instead. I’ve tried the following to get it working correctly again;

1: options : permalinks : default : update – this didn’t work

2: unsubscribed from the feed then resubscribed – still loads incorrect urls

3: (in firefox 1.5) Reloaded Live bookmark – still brings up the incorrect urls.

Is there anyway to get the RSS feed back to how it should be? eg: using the Default Permalink like the rest of the site?

[using WordPress 2.0 if that’s any help.]
