RSS page says "cannot display this feed"

    RSS Newbie Alert!

    My site is https://www.simpleandenough.com/
    I’m using WP 3.1.3 and Atahualpa 3.5.3

    The RSS logo in the browser control bar shows feed urls for the drop down part of the log, but the main “click” on the RSS logo goes to

    https://www.simpleandenough.com/feed

    which shows “cannot display this feed”.

    After about an hour of research I’m still unclear on what should be happening here. I would be satisfied to have that like route to a page that said “please use the little drop down links”, however, I’m probably missing the point of the /feed page.

    Any guidance on how to stop the “cannot display” error and better utilize this feature would be appreciated.

    The point of a feed page is to be able to syndicate your blog posts. Are you using posts or pages?

    Thanks for your reply. I’m using pages now. I plan to start using the blog soon, which is why I wanted to better understand RSS. For the pages, I was thinking that when I create a new article (page) I would add a blog post to point to it. So this inquiry is really about the blog posts.

    Right, your RSS feed won’t work without posts ?? You’re getting a cannot-display error cause you’ve got no posts.
