RSS Not updating

  • Hello Team:

    I have not been able to reliably receive RSS feeds from the site — My blog is at https://www.rusharound.com/press . The feeds only show up in my readers immediately after registering the url the first time, but after that – I get irregular or no updates at all. I’ve tried using Google Desktop Feed reader, IE 7 Feed tools, Bloglines and Google Reader — none are consistent. Can anyone tell me what’s wrong? To test, it’s fine to make comments and see if they show up in your reader.

  • your feed seemed fine to me, worked with firefox live bookmarks, and with bloglines.

    Thanks for taking a look at this. Did you add a comment and see it show up in your reader? How long did it take for the reader to update/find the new comment?

    (If you didn’t do this – would you mind trying it?)

    I didn’t try the comments rss before, just posts. But the comments feed is a bit strange. The feed is correct, works perfect in live bookmarks, but bloglines showed the most recent comments as of Wednesday. I think it is a problem with bloglines to tell you the truth. My feeds have been a bit strange with them lately, I am just waiting to see if it sorts itself out, because the feed itself is good.

    You’re a good person to look into this. My favorite RSS reader (Google Desktop) caught your comment post at about 7AM eastern time this morning (Friday).

    I’m not yet confident in the system…
