RSS Links not working

Just noticed that quite a number of my RSS links have also failed eg:
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Could not open handle for fopen() to https://english.aljazeera.net/Services/Rss/?PostingId=200772215116
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Could not open handle for fopen() to https://www.prwatch.org/blog/feed
RSS Error: WP HTTP Error: Could not open handle for fopen() to https://www.legitgov.org/legitgov.xml
etc, etc.
This has probably got to be the worst ‘upgrade’ ever and it’s mostly useless ‘improvements’ eg, the mess that’s been made of the plugins and Widgets admin pages. What was wrong with the 2.7.1 versions, they worked perfectly well, easy to navigate etc. Now, all I’ve got is dogs!
