RSS Issues – Where to start?

Hello!

My ultimate goal is to have my content show up properly in Apple News and Feedly. I’ve been putzing with my RSS feeds for a while and I still don’t have a clue with what I need to do.

Here are my issues:

1. The embedded video doesn’t show up properly in Apple News. I have a custom function that wraps the video in a responsive container but I did a test with a regular video and it still doesn’t show up. Any ideas?

2. My images show up “twice”. There is a placeholder where the image is suppose to be (an empty white box) and then the actual image. This makes the formatting of the rendered feed messy.

3. Is there a way to omit parts of a page? I have tables in the middle of the page that end up looking like a blast of unformatted text in the middle of my post.

Any suggestions would be great!
