RSS Issue with 2.5

I recently installed 2.5 (first time using WordPress) and I really like it. I have a question regard the feeds. If I pull up my domain.com/feed/ I get nothing yet. I have 5 Pages and 0 posts so this doesn’t surprise me. If I pull up domain.com/feed/atom/ I get all my pages and every media item I’ve uploaded (over 100). What is the purpose of the atom feed and can I prevent this?

Also – I tried searching but could not find an adequate answer. Is there a way to include the Pages in the RSS feed? Thanks for all the help!
