• I searched the forums and didn’t see this specific issue covered, so I decided to come here and ask it. Here it goes…
I have my WP main page setup to be shown when the root of my site (www.msinsights.com) is hit. If I go to any of the news aggregator sites and type in my top level URL, which is what most folks would do, I only get the commentsrss2.php feed.
Now here is where it gets strange. If I go directly to where the full WP install is and do the same thing (www.msinsights.com/wp) I actually get the rss2.php feed, which is what I want. I have diff’d the output of the two pages (root and wp/) and with the exception of my page formatting, they look identical.
What have I done and how can I fix it?
    Thanks in advance.

Well, the complaints I keep getting are from folks using the RSSReader or Yahoo RSS news apps. I’ve tried both and they are quite broken going to the root, yet both work going to the wp/ directory.
I know there has to be some logical answer out there.
