RSS help. Get feeds and parse them as new post

BTW: heres the feed i would like to use :

i would recommend https://projects.radgeek.com/feedwordpress/

However, when i set up a blog with feedwordpress yesterday, i allways got the error:

update-feeds: instruct FeedWordPress to look for new syndicated content

Sending ping to <https://sebastiangruber.se.funpic.org/wordpress/xmlrpc.php>&#8230;

The XML-RPC ping failed (local): transport error – could not open socket

is this a server problem? can anybody help? thanks,

I’m getting the same error. However it did work at one time before I “restored” my site… weird. The content seems to be ok…except when updating the feeds @ https://www.binaryechoes.net/wp-content/update-feeds.php I get

I tried reinstalling the plugin and searching WP forums to no avail.

Is this a bug or is it something that I’m overlooking?

Any suggestions and/or hacks greatly appreciated…

I get this error all the time too. It worked the first night and that was it.
