RSS Feeds from the Link Manager

  • Is there a way to use RSS to get info from the links, link categories maintained in the links manager?
    I’d just like to be able to get the list of links that I maintain with link manager via an RSS feed. Possible? If so, what’s the format of the request.

  • Your link manager does not change, and so an RSS feed does not seem to be worth too much.
    if however you are trying to import the links from the link manager to a newsreader, you can take advantage of the opml exporter in wordpress, located in the root directory of your blog.

    The RSS approach was just a quick hack to see if I could import the links to another program. Magpie already handles RSS feeds for that program.
    To go the OPML route, I’ll have to find a script that will read OPML files. If I can figure out how the OPML parse script for importing in the admin section works, maybe I can use that. I just needed something quick and dirty.
