RSS feeds for www.remarpro.com not working

Have you tried:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems?

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading the wp-admin and wp-includes folders from a fresh download of WordPress?

– increasing the available memory?

Tried some of these things. The Askimet issue seems to have resolved on its own. So, now it’s just the RSS feeds from www.remarpro.com that don’t work, which is weird.

I’ll try a few more things.

The sounds like a server issue. Either your server is misconfigure and can’t resolve remote URLs or a server-side security system is preventing WordPress from loading the feeds.

I’ve got a brand new install of WPMU on a server here with no plugins or any data to speak of. When I go to the dashboard I’m getting the same errors. I can’t add rss feeds in the sidebar widget either. nslookup, ping, and dig all work fine from that server. Additionally, when I went to install the buddypress plugin by searching for it in the plugin installer in the wp-admin area I got this error: “An Unexpected HTTP Error occurred during the API request.” The section called “Popular tags” on that page (wp-admin/plugin-install.php) was also empty.

No. You’re using MU. The original poster was using WP 3.0 – presumably without multisite enabled.
