RSS Feeds & Icon Are Gone

I had a horrible looking popup appear on my screen when trying to request your feed, then got re-directed to another site..

Remove the annoying scripts and i’ll help you troubleshoot the issue, but while you’re bouncing me round to other sites and displaying annoying popup messages, i have to admit, it’s a bit off-putting to help… (no offense intended, i just don’t like my browser doing stuff i don’t ask it to). Of course, none of them actually stop me doing anything i want, but they’re annoying all the same.

I’d be inclined to still suggest the following though..

Switch theme, see if the problem occurs.
Disable plugins, see if the problem occurs.

I’m not asking you to make those changes permenantly, simply test to see if it makes a difference, it will narrow down the issue.

No offense taken. I’ve removed the script and have changed to a basic theme and back. The Feeds seem to be gone totally. I’ll now try disabling the plug ins….

I disabled all the plug ins and refreshed the page. When clicking on the Meta : “Entries RSS” and “Comments RSS” I now get a white page with a whole bunch of text on it which looks like feed text.

I then activated all the plug ins one by one and am still able to see the feeds text on the white pages.

However, I cannot get the “Orange Feeds Icon” back where it used to be. Any help you can provide is appreciated….

Update… Hmmmm… I created a new post and the white screen that says “invalid feed request. Error 400” is now back.

OK….. I made an error in the url address inclusion on the themes page. I’ve fixed the error and it seems to be working fine now. I’ll test it in a day or so again….

I can see your feed, and the icon for the feed.

Thank you for your ideas and help. I dumped the annoying scripts and will stay with a clean website.
