RSS Feed subscriptions

  • In my sidebar I have one built in Meta widget with RSS feed links on it. But the link has says ?feed=rss2 instead of an xml file. Can you explain where is the rss feed xml file located…and can a different xml file be replaced there or can it be edited.?

  • The RSS feed does not exist as a file. It is generated in demand by WordPress. Just use that link if you need it elsewhere and the feed will be displayed just fine.
