RSS feed showing whole post when set to excerpts

Hi,
I just set my RSS feed to show only summaries, about 30 mins. ago, using the Reading settings in the admin panel. However, my whole posts are still showing in RSS.

Is that because they were posted before I changed the settings, and subsequent posts will only show a summary? Or is there a delay to the changeover? Or is something not right? Thanks.
