RSS Feed setup, and URL

Can someone explain to me the setup process for the RSS feed?
I have tried several different URLs, but none seem to work. And even when I try and change the permalink structure it doesn’t seem to make a difference either.
I’d like to keep the URL format I have currently (ie https://www.havemapwilltravel.com/old-san-juan-puerto-rico/) so any specific advice for my URL (https://www.havemapwilltravel.com) would be greatly appreciated.
