RSS Feed Only Shows 10 Posts Help

  • I changed the default 10 posts setting in Reading – Syndication feeds show the most recent – from 10 to 500, then I cleared my browser’s cache but it is still only showing 10 of my most recent posts in my feed. My Feedburner feed does the same thing, it only shows my 10 most recent posts. I have nearly 2,000 posts published on my blog and I need my feed to show more of them. How do I fix this?

  • I’ve checked now, and it is now seeing a lot more feed items.

    Feeds are cached in WordPress, so can take a little time to update. However, 500 is a little too much, I instead recommend a much smaller number, as the feed took a while to load (in fact, I gave up after 200 items loaded).
